General

Youngboats has over 70 individual pontoon berths for craft up to 30 foot LOA, in the pleasant quite setting at the head of Oare Creek.
They are almost all finger berths, with spaces for visitors.

All the berths dry out, with access to the Creek around 1 hours each side of high water.


Moorings in Oare Creek

All the berths have access to water and electricity (with tokens purchased from the office and are in secure compounds surrounded by high fencing with lockable gates.

Space is available ashore within the compounds for winter lay-up at no extra cost, (other than cranage), to owners renting a berth.

At the head of the creek there are toilets, telephone, and second hand boat sales.

At the head of the Creek lies Oare village with its two pubs and easy access to the market town of Faversham about a mile away.

Charges

wef 1 October 2017 our charges are:
Mooring/storage charges (min 3 months) 3.50 metre per week
Temporary mooring/storage charges (less than 3 months) 3.95 metre per week
Visitor mooring charges 10.00 per night
Cranage charges to lift out17.50 per metre
Cranage charges to lift in17.50 per metre
Misc. cranage charges72.00 per hour

All charges include VAT

We do not charge extra for the storage of customers dinghies and trailers; however we do ask that any dinghy or trailer is clearly marked with your name or the name of your boat. Unidentified items will be disposed of.
